Thank you for your purchase of the Miller Tech Tools Multi SPI Flash Adapter Board. Below are the instructions to configure, install and use this adapter with your Universal 25 series SPI programmer.
Installing the Header Pins
Prior to installing the header pins onto the board, please make sure you have the following within reach:
- Soldering Iron
- Solder (lead or lead-free)
Once you have those handy, we can get started. Please follow the steps below
- Place the short end of the header pins through the holes on the bottom of the adapter.
- Flip the board with the header pins. This will allow the adapter to stand on its own, making the soldering job much easier.
- Solder the eight header pin connection.
Adapter Install Orientation
The adapter orientation follows standard practice for SOP-8 packages, with the pin 1 marking being aligned with the Chip Select (CS) pin.
